La Roche to Accept New Students at Instant Decision Drive-Thru

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 10, 2020 – La Roche University invites prospective students to receive an admissions decision and discover the amount of their academic scholarship, all from the comfort of their car, at an Instant Decision Drive-Thru.

The events will take place on La Roche’s campus in the North Hills of Pittsburgh on Friday, Nov. 20 from noon to 5 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Students can download an application for admission in advance and bring a completed copy to the event. Applicants also may choose to apply for admission from their parked cars during the event, or by visiting admissions staff at an outdoor tent, located in the commuter lot in front of the Wright Library. All students will need to bring transcripts to receive an instant admissions decision.

In addition to receiving an enrollment decision, students will learn the amount of their merit scholarship award. Each year La Roche awards more than $11 million in merit-based scholarships to qualifying students.

Accepted students will receive a free T-shirt and a temporary acceptance certificate.

The events will feature an optional campus tour, guided by a La Roche admissions counselor. Attendees also can explore La Roche on their own by scanning QR codes displayed around campus.

The University adheres to COVID-19 safety measures that align with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and the Allegheny County Health Department. Temperature screenings, face coverings and social distancing are required, and hand sanitizer stations are available at multiple locations on campus. La Roche also has adjusted its campus tour to minimize time inside campus facilities.
