What do you find most rewarding about playing soccer at La Roche?

The relationships with my teammates, coaches and others around the program are the most rewarding. Soccer has has taught me to push myself and challenge myself in ways that I did not think were possible.

Describe the bond you have with your teammates.

The bond between my teammates and I is hard to describe. Coming here from Zanesville, Ohio and knowing no one at the school was scary at first, but once I met all of my teammates, they became a second family to me. We all are brothers sticking with each other through our lowest and highest times.

What is your role on SGA, and why did you get involved with SGA?

I am the SGA Director of Athletics and Intramurals. I got involved with SGA this past year when I became president of SAAC on campus.

Proudest moment at LRU and why:

It is hard to pick out one specific moment at LRU. I would say that I am proudest of always taking challenges head on and never giving up, even when I had doubts and negative thoughts.

How would you describe La Roche to someone who isn’t a student here yet?

I would describe La Roche as a very diverse and welcoming place. Everyone here is welcoming and friendly, even if you have not spoken to them before. The professors are approachable and helpful, and they want to get to know you on a personal level.

What advice do you have for incoming students?

My advice for incoming students is to get out and explore when you get here. Join clubs, introduce yourself to new people, and enjoy the activities and opportunities that the school offers.

You run Woodsman Training, a fitness account on Instagram. Tell us how this started.

I started the account to show my training for upcoming soccer season, and it evolved to sharing workouts every few days. Some of my friends have asked me to help them with their own workout plans.
