Charlie Batch Delivers Outstanding Speech at Commencement

Professional athlete and community advocate Charlie Batch received an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters and delivered the commencement address at La Roche College’s 49th commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 3.

"Charlie Batch is a name that is synonymous with commitment and achievement, both in his career as a quarterback with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Lions, and in his impressive contributions as a community advocate and volunteer," Sister Candace Introcaso, CDP, Ph.D. president of La Roche College, said. "Mr. Batch is an outstanding role model for young people. He exemplifies the qualities and values that we at La Roche strive to instill in our students – those that will prepare them to be caring and confident leaders in our ever-changing global society."

Starting July1, the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will raise the cost to purchase a La Roche College Specialty License Plate.  The direct cost to the DMV will increase from $20 to $76, plus the cost of plate production and processing fees. Baseball Team #1 Seed, Heading to the Playoffs

La Roche Baseball clinched the AMCC Regular Season Championship and home field advantage in the AMCC Tournament after sweeping Mt. Aloysius College 17-2, 11-2. The win is their 12th in a row.
