HOW TO ENTER

  • Decorate your door as spooky, creepy and as fun as you wish.
  • Send a picture of your door to @larocheuniv via direct message on Instagram.

DECORATING TIPS

  • Be creative and think outside the box.
  • Be cautious that you do not cover the lock on the door or cause the door to not close properly.

RULES

  • You must be a current La Roche University resident student.
  • You must follow @larocheuniv on Instagram.
  • Photos must be submitted by 8 p.m. on Oct. 21.
  • Only one photo may be submitted per room.
  • Photos should be taken and submitted vertically.
  • All submissions should adhere to the social media policy at La Roche University.

PRIZES

  • The first two students to enter before Oct. 17 will win a pair of Kennywood Phantom Fall Fest tickets.
  • The grand prize winner will be chosen based on the photo with the most likes on the @larocheuniv Instagram. Grand prize TBD.

DETAILS

  • Contest Period

The Halloween door decorating contest will run from 8 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21. The Office of Marketing and Media Relations will notify the first two winners by the end of the day on Oct. 17. The grand prize winner will be notified by the end of the day on Oct. 22.

  • Selection Criteria

The Office of Marketing and Media Relations will review all submissions and make a selection of the top six doors. Those photos will then be posted to Instagram for followers to vote on the most creative submission.
