Keynote Speaker: Sanj Katyal, MD

Sanj Katyal, MDDr. Sanj Katyal is the Founder of the Positive Psychology Program for Physicians and the President of Optimal Life Imaging Group, PC. He has published and lectured extensively on the science of well-being and happiness.

Dr. Katyal is the author of the Amazon Best-Seller “Positive Philosophy: Ancient and Modern Wisdom to Create a Flourishing Life.” He holds a bachelor’s degree with university honors in chemical and biomedical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and a doctorate in medicine from New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Katyal also holds certifications in positive psychology and positive psychology coaching from Whole Being Institute.

The Conference on Teaching and Learning in Higher Education aims to foster discourse on student-centered teaching and learning techniques, strategies and approaches. This Conference is an opportunity to share and learn about new approaches for teaching, but it is not restricted to classroom educators.

We invite all stakeholders in student success to share their best practices (e.g., admissions representatives, advisors, retention and student support specialists, financial aid counselors, librarians, mentors, technology support specialists, etc.)
