State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement - (SARA)
The State Authorization Reciprocity
Agreement (SARA) is an agreement among member states, districts, and
territories that establishes comparable national standards for
interstate offerings of post-secondary distance education courses and
programs. La Roche University has been approved to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements.
Its intention is to make it easier for students to take
online courses and complete field experiences offered by post-secondary
institutions based on another state. La Roche University is a participating
SARA institution. By participating in SARA, La Roche is able to operate
in every SARA state. The SARA Map identifies other participating
states and districts.

Professional Licensure
La
Roche University is approved to offer programs that may lead to
licensure/certification in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. La Roche
cannot confirm that our programs meet the requirements for
licensure/certification in any other state or commonwealth.
If you are
considering enrolling in an education or nursing program and being
certified/licensed in a state other than Pennsylvania, please check the
specific requirements for certification/licensure in your state. If you
are considering other professions that my require
certification/licensure, you should first seek the guidance of your
state's requirements.
Distance Education Complaint Process
La
Roche University students who live outside of the state of Pennsylvania,
or are engaged in distance education courses at La Roche while in a
state other than Pennsylvania, please refer to the Academic Policies
website for resolving issues and complaints internally.
If you are
unable to resolve an issue internally, you may contact the appropriate
state agency. We ask that you please try to resolve all complaints with
the University internally before going to an outside agency.
