La Roche University invites applications for the position of Assistant Program Director – Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP), within the Academic Affairs Division.  This position will teach a variety of courses to doctoral students in the doctoral program and includes directing capstone projects.  The candidate must possess a doctoral degree, (Ph.D., DNP or DNAP).  The Assistant Program Director position is full time and open for immediate hire.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Assistant Program Director assists the Program Director in the daily operations of the Doctorate of Nurse Anesthesia Program and assists in assuring compliance with the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program’s Standards and Guidelines. The doctorally-prepared Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is experientially qualified to assist the program administrator and, if required, assume leadership responsibility for the program. The Assistant Program Director serves as designee for the Program Director.  Additional responsibilities include teaching, mentoring and advising as assigned.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Ph.D., DNP or DNAP required
  • Must have a current CRNA license
  • Must have a current professional registered nurse license
  • Evidence of effective college-level teaching experience required
  • Online teaching experience required
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
