La Roche University invites applications for the position of Program Director – Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP), within the Academic Affairs Division.  This position is primarily responsible for the direction and operation of the DNAP program.  It includes teaching a variety of courses to doctoral students in the doctoral program and directing capstone projects.  The candidate must possess a doctoral degree, (Ph.D., DNP or DNAP).  The Program Director position is full-time and open for immediate hire.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Program Director is responsible for the daily operations of the Doctorate of Nurse Anesthesia Program and assures compliance with the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program’s Standards and Guidelines. The doctorally-prepared Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is experientially qualified and assumes leadership responsibility for the program.  Additional responsibilities include teaching, mentoring and advising as assigned.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Ph.D., DNP or DNAP required
  • Must have a current CRNA license
  • Must have a current professional registered nurse license
  • Evidence of effective college-level teaching experience required
  • Online teaching experience required
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
