The Design Studies major at La Roche University combines a liberal arts-focused design curriculum with additional courses outside of the discipline, including general electives and business credits.
This major focuses on the foundation of design principles while allowing you to build upon that knowledge with an individualized focus. You’ll choose from one or two areas of concentration within design, arts or film. Students are encouraged to use general electives and business credits to pursue a minor such as Marketing, Management, Management Information Systems, Sustainability, Interdisciplinary Studies, Education or Creative Writing.
Before graduating you’ll also gain real-world experience and practical skills by completing a required design internship.
