La Roche Scholarships

Scholarships for Resident & Commuter First-Time Freshman, Transfer & Adult Students

Have you distinguished yourself in your studies? Perhaps you are a deserving student who fits certain special circumstances. You may be eligible for one of La Roche College's competitive merit-based scholarships for new full-time students. These scholarships are listed below and are renewable. Eligibility criteria and renewal guidelines differ for each type of award. If you are eligible for more than one La Roche College scholarship, you will receive the higher award. This includes tuition waivers.

Full-time Freshman Students

All new full-time students are automatically reviewed by the Admissions Office for merit-based scholarships. These scholarships range in value from $2,500 to $16,000 based upon the student's grade point average, SAT and/or ACT scores, and housing status at their time of acceptance. Please contact the Office of Admissions for questions on full-time freshman scholarships toll-free at 1-800-838-4LRC.

Merit-Based Scholarships:

These scholarships are for full-time freshmen. They do not require a separate application and are awarded at the time of admission.

La Roche recognizes students who pursue and achieve academic excellence by providing scholarship assistance. View the matrix below to see how your test scores and GPA will be rewarded with a merit-based scholarship.

  1. Students with test scores and/or GPA outside the matrix will be considered for a merit scholarship on a case-by-case basis.
  2. Only scores considered: (new SAT) evidence-based reading and writing, and math; (old SAT) critical reading and math; and/or composite ACT score. Writing component excluded from old and new SAT scores in scholarship calculation. Convert old SAT scores to new SAT scores at collegeboard.org
  3. All awards are for U.S. citizens and permanent residents only.
  4. The Dance Merit Award replaces a merit-based scholarship.
