May 5: Planetarium Centennial Lecture

Join us for an inspiring evening celebrating a century of stargazing, science and innovation.

  • Opening Remarks: Susan Button, former president of the International Planetarium Society
  • Feature Presentation: "Dark Skies for Astronomy and Birds”
    Presented by Diane Turnshek, Lecturer at Carnegie Mellon University and Adjunct Faculty at the University of Pittsburgh

May 6: Family Night
6–8 p.m. | Ryan Room and Zappala Campus Center Square 

An evening of discovery and exploration for families and community members.

  • Mobile planetarium shows at 6:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.
  • Multiple hands-on STEM activity stations
  • Educational fun for all ages
