La Roche University Ranks Among The Princeton Review’s Best Colleges

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 31, 2022 – According to The Princeton Review, one of the nation’s leading education services companies, La Roche University ranks as a Best Northeastern College.

La Roche is one of 224 schools listed as a Best Northeastern College in The Princeton Review’s 2023 Best Colleges: Region by Region web feature.

Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Howard J. Ishiyama, Ph.D., said, “For nearly 20 years, La Roche has been championed as a Best Northeastern College by The Princeton Review. This continued recognition speaks to our committed faculty, academic rigor and an overall campus experience that empowers students to be their personal and professional best.”

Top colleges are determined by The Princeton Review’s 85-question survey which asks students to rate their professors, administrators, school services and other aspects of life at their colleges, and to report on their campus and community experiences.

“Since 1992, when we debuted our multiple ranking lists as an alternative to a single academics-only mega list, our mission has been to give students a more useful resource to find the best college for them,” said Rob Franek, editor-in-chief of The Princeton Review.

Mr. Franek, who is lead author of The Best 388 Colleges, added, “Our ranking lists, however, are not based on our opinions of the colleges. They’re entirely based on what the schools’ own students have told us about their experiences.”

The Princeton Review is a leading tutoring, test prep and college admissions services company. Every year the company helps millions of college- and graduate school-bound students achieve their education and career goals through its: online and in-person courses delivered by a network of more than 4,000 teachers and tutors; online resources; more than 150 print and digital books published by Penguin Random House; and dozens of categories of school rankings.
