Credential Evaluation

To expedite the transfer process, we recommend purchasing a course-by-course credential evaluation from services such as World Education Services (WES), Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) or Foreign Credentials Service of America.

We require students to provide detailed descriptions of any courses they wish to transfer. If you are not able to get course descriptions from your previous school, please purchase a credential evaluation that includes course descriptions.

If you choose not to purchase a credential evaluation, we will work with you to transfer your credits. Please note this is a longer process.

We require you to provide the following information:

  1. Official university transcripts – To be delivered to La Roche University directly from the university issuing the transcript. We only can produce an unofficial transfer evaluation with unofficial transcripts.

  2. Documentation of university’s accreditation – La Roche only accepts transfer credits from universities recognized by the Ministry of Education of the institution’s country.

  3. Credit hour conversion – Provide documentation of the number of classroom hours equivalent to one credit.

  4. Course descriptions – Include course title, number of credits and a description of course outcomes and subjects covered.

Transferring from a Local Community College

If you are transferring to La Roche from a local community college, please review our Community College Equivalency Guides.
