La Roche University is currently seeking applicants for the position of Enrollment Support Specialist within the Division of Enrollment Management.  The Enrollment Support Specialist coordinates projects and mailings for admissions, acts as the campus visitor coordinator and oversees front office duties for the freshman admissions department.  This position is for 36.25 hours per week, which is considered full-time, and reports to the Executive Director for Enrollment. The pay range starts at $14.00/hr.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming visitors to the Freshman Admissions office and providing excellent customer service to guests. 
  • Communicating with prospective students and families via phone, texting and email; responding to, or forwarding, calls and email continually throughout the day.
  • Managing the online software for all campus visits, including scheduling and rescheduling prospective students, coordinating admissions staff, work study students, faculty and athletic coaches.
  • Assisting with preparation of, and attending, various events on campus such as work study job fairs, admissions open houses, and welcome days.
  • Preparing and coordinating mailings, scholarship letters, and performing other mailroom associated activities.
  • Updating internal admissions campus communications such as Intranet and campus-wide monitors/screen announcements. 
  • Interacting with multiple campus departments and outside vendors to ensure smooth coordination of appointments, events, and supplies.
  • Supervising admissions work study students including interviewing, training, and monitoring of work study students’ progress. 
  • Performing general office functions such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory and submitting maintenance and IT work orders as needed by the admissions office.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree required; bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Docs and ability to utilize other software/database programs
  • Experience in a customer service setting or general office administration a plus
  • Valid/current driver’s license required
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including some evenings and weekends
  • Must be able lift materials and equipment up to 25 pounds
