Topics include the preparation of accounting information and its subsequent uses, as well as the instruction of advanced skills needed to use spreadsheet software to prepare schedules commonly found in an accounting environment.

This course focuses on some of the basic forms that must be submitted by taxpayers, recognition of present real world tax issues, planning strategies to ensure compliance with applicable law and regulations while minimizing the taxpayers’ exposure to liability, and the evaluation of the practical and ethical issues that may be encountered in implementing tax strategies.
