Service Opportunity: Rachel Carson Trail

Join the Ketteler Center for Peace, Justice & Inclusion for a LRX service opportunity at the Rachel Carson Trail while learning about our local parks and conservation. We will be doing light to moderate work outdoors. Participants should wear long sleeves, pants, and closed-toe shoes.

Service activities include:

• Removing debris from the trail

• Digging up plants and small shrubs

• Gaining insight into the trail’s mission

• Learning how to take care of the earth

• Making connections through meaningful work

Transportation will be provided. We will depart at 9:45 A.M. in front of the Wright Library.
