Christine Yaklich holds a BS in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from the University of Maine and an MEd in Education with concentrations in Reading and Math from Duquesne University. She has multiple certifications in the state of Pennsylvania, including ESL Specialist and Elementary Education. Another focus area of her educational experience is the role of Curriculum and Literary Designer. She has been teaching in the ESL and Pathway programs at La Roche University since January of 2014. Her experience in teaching prior to her current role encompasses all subjects including Spanish when teaching in K-12 schools. In addition to teaching, she enjoys researching new methodologies for use in the classroom and staying up to date on innovative teaching strategies which focus on Reading Skills, Native Language Influence on SLL, Pronunciation, and Linguistics.
