Pittsburgh Outdoor College Fair Set for May 22 at La Roche University

PITTSBURGH, May 17, 2021 – More than 50 colleges, universities, and educational institutions and services will participate in the Pittsburgh Outdoor College Fair at La Roche University this Saturday, May 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“Most college fairs were canceled this past year, resulting in many high school students feeling behind on their college searches,” said Hope Schiffgens, executive director for enrollment at La Roche. “Those attending the fair will be able to meet with admissions representatives from multiple institutions in a safe, outdoor environment, and the weather forecast looks fantastic.”

The fair will take place in the commuter lot on La Roche’s campus in McCandless Township. Students can meet with representatives from each school to explore campuses and learn about academic programs. Complimentary Kona Ice will be provided, and pizza and hoagies will be available to purchase from Large Plain.

Visit laroche.edu/fair to view a list of participating schools and to register.

Parking will be available in several lots on campus, and the Baierl Athletic Complex will be utilized for overflow parking needs.

La Roche adheres to COVID-19 safety measures that align with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and the Allegheny County Health Department. Temperature screenings are required for attending college representatives, and face coverings also are required.
