Meet Design at La Roche Scheduled for Feb. 21

PITTSBURGH, Jan. 19, 2022 – La Roche University invites high school students to explore the fields of film, graphic design and interior design at Meet Design on Feb. 21 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Hosted by the La Roche Design Division, the event is for students in grades 10 through 12 who are interested in film, photography, and graphic or interior design. Students will test their own creative skills by participating in a hands-on design project. The event also will feature firsthand accounts from current design students, faculty and professionals about opportunities in the field.

Lisa Kamphaus, chair of the La Roche Design Division, said, “Meet Design is a unique opportunity for high school students. This all-day event offers a firsthand look at La Roche design studios and the chance to interact with film and design students, faculty and industry-connected professionals.”

Students must preregister by Feb. 10 at laroche.edu/meetdesign. Space is limited, and priority is given to high school juniors and seniors.

La Roche adheres to COVID-19 safety measures that align with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and the Allegheny County Health Department. Visitors must wear face coverings in all indoor settings on campus, regardless of vaccination status.
