La Roche Center for Lifelong Learning to Host Summer Preview on June 22

PITTSBURGH, June 13, 2022 – La Roche University’s Center for Lifelong Learning invites adults 50 and better to explore upcoming courses at a Summer Preview on Wednesday, June 22.

The event will begin at 11 a.m. in the Palumbo Science Center, Room 101 at La Roche’s campus in the North Hills. Guests will learn about the various noncredit, short-term courses starting this June as part of Adventures in Lifelong Learning (ALL), a membership-based program for retirement-aged individuals.

Jennifer Engel, executive director of La Roche’s Center for Lifelong Learning, said, “The Adventures in Lifelong Learning program offers opportunities for participants to continually grow and evolve intellectually, socially, physically and spiritually. La Roche invites all retirement-aged individuals to be part of this welcoming environment where we all learn for the joy of learning while expanding our social networks.”

The event will feature an overview of ALL membership benefits, including:

  • Unlimited number of ALL courses
  • A La Roche student ID
  • The option to audit up to one undergraduate course per term
  • Discounts at La Roche’s cafeteria and bookstore
  • In-person and remote Wright Library privileges
  • One-time lectures and events
  • Travel opportunities
