Experience La Roche University’s GLOBE Fest April 10

PITTSBURGH, March 27, 2025 – La Roche University will celebrate the vibrant cultures that shape our world at GLOBE Fest on Thursday, April 10. This exciting annual event brings the community together through music, dance, food, fashion and the arts.

Event Details

  • Pre-show at 5 p.m. featuring food, crafts and activities in Zappala Campus Center Square
  • Main Event at 5:30 p.m. with performances representing global cultures through music, dance and fashion in Zappala Campus Center Square
  • Holi Color Celebration: Concludes the evening on the Huber Academic Center Lawn

The event is open to the public and free of charge.

Executive Director of Inclusion & Belonging Sarah White said, “GLOBE Fest provides a special platform for students to express themselves through music, dance, fashion and more. It’s an incredible experience to see students share their cultures and identities in such a meaningful way, creating an environment of unity and inclusiveness that strengthens our campus community.”

Student Involvement

GLOBE Fest is organized by GLOBE (Globalization for La Roche University, One Beat on Earth), a student-led organization focused on promoting cultural exchange and global awareness

Students play a key role in organizing GLOBE Fest, from managing performances and coordinating models to promoting the event and arranging logistics. This hands-on involvement provides valuable experience in event planning, teamwork and cultural exploration.

GLOBE’s Mission

GLOBE strives to foster cross-cultural dialogue, global awareness and inclusivity. The annual event serves as a platform where both international and domestic students can share experiences and build connections within the La Roche community.
