Strengthening Global Ties: La Roche University Partners with Woxsen University

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 22, 2025 – La Roche University is delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Woxsen University in Telangana, India, further advancing its commitment to global academic collaboration and innovation in higher education. 

The agreement was officially signed by Dr. Christina Clark, President of La Roche University, and Dr. Raul Rodriguez, Vice President of Woxsen University. This partnership establishes a framework for academic cooperation, mutual development, and cross-cultural engagement between the two institutions. 

Under the terms of the MOU, La Roche University and Woxsen University will engage in a broad range of joint initiatives, including student and faculty exchanges, collaborative academic programs, joint research projects, international conferences and workshops, dual-degree pathways, and short-term study and field experience opportunities. These initiatives are designed to foster experiential learning, promote intercultural understanding, and support professional development in an increasingly interconnected academic environment.

Founded in 2014, Woxsen University is a private institution located on a 200-acre residential campus in Sadashivapet, approximately 70 kilometers (43 miles) from Hyderabad, Telangana. The university comprises seven schools, including the School of Business, School of Technology, School of Art and Design, School of Law, School of Liberal Arts and Humanities, School of Architecture and Planning, and School of Sciences. 

Woxsen is known for its emphasis on innovation and hands-on education. The campus features one of Asia’s largest Bloomberg Finance Labs, equipped with 20 Bloomberg Terminals that integrate real-time financial data and analytics into its finance curriculum. The university also houses an AI Research Centre, Design and Tech Labs, and a Centre of Excellence focused on emerging technologies, demonstrating its commitment to preparing students for the demands of a dynamic global economy.
