PITTSBURGH, Dec. 2, 2014 –
La Roche University invites the public to a free, on-campus performance by Bodiography Center for Movement’s classical and contemporary student companies on Saturday, Dec. 13.

Beginning at 7:30 p.m., the event will be held in the Zappala College Center Square at La Roche’s main campus in the North Hills. Students from the University Preparatory Dance program will perform a variety of works under the direction of Bodiography Program Director Kirstie Corso and Company Artist Amanda Fisher. With several surprise guests from professional dance companies and affiliates in the community, the event will feature new work by Karen Dacko, Greer Reed and a performance by Czarniak Tap.

La Roche’s unique partnership with Bodiography allows students to expand their artistic development and technical refinement in a real-world setting. By performing with a company of esteemed artists on a regular basis, students become proficient in performing at a high level in a professional environment.
