La Roche College to Host Instant Decision Day on Feb. 9

PITTSBURGH, Jan. 15, 2015 – La Roche University invites prospective students to meet with an enrollment counselor, receive an admissions decision and discover their academic scholarship award amount all at once during Instant Decision Day on Monday, Feb. 9.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. at La Roche’s Freshman Admissions office, located at 8650 Babcock Boulevard in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. No appointment is necessary, but students must bring the following items for consideration: a completed La Roche application, a high school transcript and SAT or ACT scores.

Applicants must hold a minimum overall grade point average of 2.5, as well as a minimum SAT score of 800 (critical reading and math) or a 17 composite ACT score. Certain programs at La Roche have admission requirements that exceed these minimums. Students must contact the University beforehand to determine their eligibility for the following programs:

  • Radiologic Technology
  • Speech and Language Pathology

In addition to receiving an admissions decision, students will learn the amount of their academic scholarship award. La Roche offers generous merit-based scholarships to qualifying students annually, and those who are eligible can receive a scholarship ranging from $1,000 to $15,000.
