La Roche Design to Sponsor Design Dialogue Presentation at Pittsburgh Opera House on Oct. 8
PITTSBURGH, Sept. 8, 2015 – The La Roche University Interior Design Advisory Board invites the professional design community in Pittsburgh to its annual Design Dialogue Speaker Series at the Pittsburgh Opera House on Oct. 8.
Stacy Garcia, a leader in the hospitality design industry, will present “Battle Cry: Stay Inspired – How to Maintain a Competitive Advantage through the Joy of Design.” A successful creative entrepreneur and founder of multiple business enterprises, Ms. Garcia is the CEO and president of Stacy Garcia Inc., a privately held product design company headquartered in New York. Ms. Garcia’s products span from floor to ceiling and include textiles, wall covering, furniture, carpet and accessories. She is a chair holder of the Color Marketing Group, an international association of color design professionals, and Pratt & Lambert’s Style & Design Guild.
Sponsored by La Roche Design and D.L. Couch, the event will begin with a reception and an open bar at 5:30 p.m., followed by Ms. Garcia’s presentation at 6:30 p.m. General admission tickets cost $35, $25 for La Roche alumni and $10 for students. Tickets are available online.
The Design Dialogue Speakers Series is an annual event sponsored by the La Roche University Interior Design Advisory Board. The series brings an internationally known designer to Pittsburgh to speak to the professional design community and students. Featured designers also visit the La Roche campus for an informal discussion with interior design and graphic design students.
