Students at La Roche College Join Business Honor Society

New members of Delta Mu Delta at La RochePITTSBURGH, Oct. 7, 2015 – Eight La Roche University students recently became members of Delta Mu Delta, the international honor society in business.

Student membership in Delta Mu Delta is the highest academic honor a business student can earn. Upperclassmen with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher are eligible to join. The organization promotes higher scholarship in developing business acumen and recognizes scholastic attainment in the business discipline. Student members become eligible for more than $60,000 annually in scholarship funds to continue or extend their education, and network with some of the principal business employers.

The following students became Delta Mu Delta members at an induction ceremony at La Roche’s main campus in September:

  • Bennett Carter of Shadyside, Pa.
  • Xin Deng of Sichuan Province, China
  • Mahmoud A. Fallatah of Saudi Arabia
  • Wesley P. King of Hanover, Pa.
  • Dennis Riosa of Trieste, Italy
  • Diana D. Vogel of Hampton, Pa.
  • Jacob Michael Weidner of Lower Burrell, Pa.

La Roche has a range of programs within its management division, offering double majors to its students at no additional tuition requirement. Undergraduate offerings include accounting, finance, international management, information systems technology, international studies, management information systems, leadership, applied sciences and marketing.

The University’s programs in management, finance, international management, accounting, marketing and management information systems are accredited through the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, a leading specialized accreditation association for business education.
