La Roche College Board of Trustees Elects New Member

PITTSBURGH, Feb. 22, 2016 – Robert Lloyd Robinson of Austin, Texas, recently joined the La Roche University Board of Trustees.

Mr. Robinson is Senior Director of Strategic Services for Civitas Learning, a pioneering predictive analytics company in higher education, where he works with clients to deploy and use data-driven insights to increase student success. Previously he worked as Solutions Director for Blackboard Inc. and Assistant Vice Provost and Director of Educational Technology at the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Mr. Robinson is president of the United States Distance Learning Association Board of Directors, chair of the Distance Education Advisory Committee for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Boards, and a 30-year volunteer for the Austin-Area Meals on Wheels. He earned his Ph.D. in higher education administration from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from St. Edward’s University.
