Undergraduate Open House Scheduled for April 9 at La Roche College

PITTSBURGH, March 1, 2016 – La Roche University will host an undergraduate open house for high school students and their families on Saturday, April 9, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the University’s main campus in the North Hills.

The structured event begins in the Kerr Fitness Center with representatives from select majors and campus programs, followed by an admissions presentation at 10:15 a.m. and campus tours at 11 a.m. Students will have the opportunity to meet La Roche faculty, tour campus, explore 50 career-focused majors and learn more about study abroad opportunities included in tuition.

Information sessions will follow the tours; sessions include financial aid, and select majors, including nursing, criminal justice and national security studies, business/management, communications and film, English literature and professional writing, and health sciences.

Admissions counselors will be on-site to answer questions, explain the application process, and discuss merit-based scholarships. Light morning refreshments and a complimentary lunch are included.
