Federal Reserve Senior Policy Economist to Speak at La Roche
PITTSBURGH, Nov. 3, 2017 – On Monday, Nov. 13 Senior Policy Economist Rubén Hernández-Murillo, Ph.D., will present in Room 103 of the Palumbo Science Center at La Roche University’s main campus in the North Hills.
Dr. Hernández-Murillo will discuss the current state of the economy, the financial crisis of 2008 and the potential impact of Bitcoin. Sponsored and organized by La Roche’s Finance and Investment Group, the event will run from 4 to 6 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public, but registration is strongly recommended. Light refreshments are included. RSVP at laroche.edu/reserve.
Established in January 2017, the Finance and Investment Group’s mission is to provide students with opportunities to explore various areas of finance with a special emphasis on investing.
