Whether you want to study abroad or travel domestically, La Roche’s Study Abroad+Study USA program allows you to see the world as part of your education. Before you graduate you have the opportunity to gain a cross-cultural experience and broaden your horizons – at no additional cost!
Included as part of your La Roche Experience
Study Abroad+Study USA covers the cost of travel, lodging and most meals. You’ll only be responsible for costs such as passport fees, visas and souvenirs.
A monetary deposit is required to secure your spot on all Study Abroad+Study USA trips. The deposit amount varies depending on the location of the trip but is generally between $600 to $800. You'll receive a deposit refund once you complete the trip. The deposit is nonrefundable to students who register but then cancel or choose not to complete the trip.
All students must verify whether they need to obtain a tourist visa to participate in a Study Abroad+Study USA course. Participants are responsible for all costs associated with obtaining a visa.
International students must meet with Director of International Student Services Dr. Natasha Garrett for information regarding visas and I-20 signatures. Contact Dr. Garrett at natasha.garrett@laroche.edu or 412-536-1296. Please contact Dr. Garrett early in the application process to ensure there is enough time to receive the proper paperwork in order to travel.
