11:30 AM - 12:30 PM

This discussion will chart the rise and making of one of America’s greatest presidents and how this virtually unknown, self-taught frontier lawyer came to preside over the defining incident in America’s history.

The shaping of his mind and character will be discussed and the elements that formed him into the man who saved America from itself.

This event is open to members of La Roche University's Adventures in Lifelong Learning program and their guests.

Speaker: Jack Puglisi has been reading and studying history for his entire adult life, and giving presentations and teaching classes since 2009. He has spoken to numerous private groups such as the Rotary and The Daughters of the American Revolution, as well as many public venues. He also is an accomplished artist.
