Commencement Update: Feb. 18, 2021
Tentative May 2021 Commencement Ceremonies

La Roche University is committed to providing its graduates with an in-person ceremony this May, as long as it is safe to do so. We know how important commencement is to you, and we want to celebrate your accomplishments even if we are unable to host a traditional ceremony.

As we monitor the state of the COVID-19 pandemic, we expect continued restrictions on the size of social gatherings. In every decision we make—including commencement—we prioritize your health and safety by adhering to protocols of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the Allegheny County Health Department.

Therefore, commencement will tentatively take place the weekend of May 8 and 9, with multiple, smaller ceremonies. Ceremonies may be outdoors with very strict limitations on the number of attendees.

In order for us to plan these events under COVID-19 restrictions, we need to know whether will attend. You must RSVP to reserve your space at one of the ceremonies by March 15.

You will be assigned to one of the ceremonies, and tickets will be required for all attendees. We will only distribute tickets to those who RSVP by March 15.

More information will be available soon.
